We recently had the opportunity to work on a case study for Time Warner’s Connect A Million Minds campaign. The goal was to spotlight a fun and innovative project that will get kids excited about learning STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) subjects. Microsoft’s Project Natal for Xbox 360 was the project of choice and it actually got our editors excited about going back to school too! A completely controllerless video game interface, Natal works off infrared sensors that recognize body motion and even facial expressions. As they say on the Project Natal team, “You are the controller.”  Not only is Natal revolutionary, but it also shows how the gaming industry is moving an entire computer industry forward. At TPS we’re really excited about the potential of this cutting edge technology and we hope the kids watching will be as excited about it as we are.
